    Concrete capers

I got a bit carried away today and my bread hit the roof of the oven leaving an H impressed on the top of the loaf.

The other day I knocked up some chelsea buns.

Today we cast the sides of the oven, this has turned into quite a project, lets hope we can dry it out in time.

Your chelsea buns look very nice,

Is there a list of things that have been planned to be made?
      Such as sweet dough etc?

If I go to Pattisons would you like a packet of dough scrapers, they are very cheap there compared to all the kitchen shops… or do you have dough scrapers coming out of your ears…?

Do have a few scrapers but the more the merrier.

        Hi Fran

The weather has been good today, we have a sheet over the top now so we are not so dependent on the weather. I have the framework done and have started on the rebar for the concrete. Hopefully the job will go a bit quicker now the base is sorted.

    Fire Bricks

On Wednesday I had a ride down to Sheffield to pick up the fire bricks, a 200 mile round trip without leaving Yorkshire.
